Invece hanno prestato solo la voce ai diversi animali Emma Thompson che anima un pappagallo blu e oro, poi c'è Rami Malek che dà voce ad un gorilla, John Cena è un orso polare, Thom Holland (che Iron Man lo conosce bene per essere stato Spider-Man negli ultimi film Marvel) è un cane con gli occhiali, Ralph Fiennes è una ferocissima tigre che vorrebbe mangiarsi il buon dottore, Selena Gomez fa la giraffa mentre Marion Cotillard la volpe Tutu. Il tutto al ritmo odierno, ibridando il racconto principale col diario di bordo di uno scoiattolo paranoico e con quella comicità sopra le righe per cui il personaggio interpretato da Michael Sheen porta il nome di Blair. L'humour est présent à chaque instant et Robert Downey Junior s'amuse comme un petit fou au milieu de ces animaux.
